Christmas Sponsor

Hello,

I would like to start by saying thank you to those who helped with this year’s Christmas raffle. That includes those that donated, shared, and/or liked any of my posts related to the raffle, it is truly appreciated. I had a goal of $450 and we were able to collect $714. We sponsored a single father with 3 girls. Some of the girls gifts were Vans (shoes), jackets, necklaces, art supplies, a bookbag, clothes, a hoverboard, and much more. We didn’t want to leave the dad at so we purchased him a nice watch. The gifts were delivered to the family on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet the father because he was at work but we were able to meet the girls and they were ecstatic when I told them who I was once they answered the door. They were very helpful in bringing the gifts in. They couldn’t stop smiling. Even when we left, we could here the girls yelling and cheering as we walked to the car so I know they were extremely grateful. While I was there I noticed there were only a few gifts that were wrapped, maybe enough for each of the girls to have one gift. So you all were able to give them way more than it appeared they were going to receive this year and again I really appreciate you all coming together to make this Christmas one that this family will remember forever.
